Crestron USB-EXT Local Extender, the transmitter/host-side component of the Crestron USB-EXT point-to-point USB extension system.
The Local Extender connects to a computer or other USB host using its USB Type-B port. Its RJ45 Link connection carries the USB signal over a single CAT5, CAT5e, CAT6 or better twisted-pair cable to a matching Crestron USB-EXT Remote Extender. The maximum distance between Local and Remote is 100 metres.
